Watering Visits
Description
Defined: Regular watering to keep your planters and seasonal displays healthy, vibrant, and thriving.
Best For:
- Maintaining plant health – ensures flowers, shrubs, and greenery stay hydrated
- Supporting container plants – prevents soil from drying out too quickly in pots
- Protecting seasonal investments – keeps your new plantings looking their best
- Preventing stress in hot or dry weather – reduces wilting and heat damage
- Convenient care for busy clients – provides reliable, professional watering when needed
Suggested Seasonal Timing:
This is a highly suggested service for clients who are unable to maintain a consistent watering schedule on their own for planters.
- Spring: Suggested 1-2 times per week for newly planted annuals/perennials and containers that are warming quickly in the sun
- Summer: Suggested 2-3 times per week (or more during heatwaves). Consistent watering is especially needed for full sun containers, flowering annuals that are actively blooming, and planters with shallow soil or high drainage.
- Fall: Suggested 1–2 times per week, tapering as temperatures drop
- Winter: Generally not needed unless plants are in sunny, exposed locations or containers contain overwintering evergreens
