1. Service-Based Business Disclosure
Seasonal Porches operates as a service provider, offering seasonal exterior design, styling, delivery, and installation services.
- Any plants, pumpkins, containers, or décor used in our work are:
- Selected and sourced by our team
- Used as part of a bundled service
- Incidental to the design and installation service provided
Seasonal Porches does not operate as a retail storefront and does not sell individual products separate from services.
2. What Clients Are Purchasing
When you book with Seasonal Porches, you are purchasing:
- Professional seasonal design services
- Installation and styling labor
- Delivery and setup coordination
- Ongoing seasonal expertise
Materials and décor are tools used to complete the service, not standalone retail goods.
3. Payments & Billing (Service-Based)
- All services require payment in full prior to scheduling
- Charges reflect professional services rendered, not resale of goods
- Prices may include design time, sourcing, labor, transportation, and materials as part of a single service fee
We do not itemize materials for resale purposes.
4. Subscriptions & Recurring Services
For recurring seasonal services:
- Subscriptions are billed for ongoing service availability and execution
- Billing occurs on the same date each billing cycle
- Charges apply to the service period, regardless of material usage within that period
Subscriptions may be canceled before the next billing cycle. Current cycles are non-refundable once started.
5. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations (Service Policy)
Due to the custom and time-sensitive nature of our services:
- All service fees are non-refundable
- We do not accept returns, as no retail goods are sold
If services must be rescheduled due to weather, supply availability, or other uncontrollable factors, Seasonal Porches may adjust timing or design elements without refund obligation.
6. Professional Judgment & Substitutions
Design outcomes may vary due to:
- Seasonal availability
- Weather conditions
- Supplier constraints
Seasonal Porches retains professional discretion to make substitutions of equal or greater quality to fulfill the contracted service.
7. Property Conditions & Natural Materials
Our services utilize natural and organic materials, which may result in:
- Soil residue
- Moisture marks
- Organic staining
- Surface discoloration over time
By engaging our services, clients acknowledge these risks and agree that Seasonal Porches is not responsible for surface staining or wear resulting from normal service execution.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing safe access for service execution
- Notifying us of sensitive or sealed surfaces
- Securing pets and personal items during service visits
Seasonal Porches is not liable for damage caused after service completion by weather, wildlife, pets, theft, or third parties.
9. Force Majeure & Service Interruptions
Seasonal Porches is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our control, including weather, supply disruptions, illness, or acts of God. Services may be rescheduled without penalty.
10. Marketing & Photography
We may photograph completed service work for portfolio and marketing use unless clients request otherwise in writing.
11. Limitation of Liability
Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the applicable service. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
12. Acceptance of Service Terms
By booking a service, enrolling in a subscription, or submitting payment, you:
- Acknowledge that Seasonal Porches provides services, not retail products
- Agree to all service policies outlined above
